Free Lesson: Silent E in Long Words (Invite, Escape, Explode)
One complete lesson for learners who read cake and bike but stall on invite and explode: box the silent-e chunk, read the other chunk, blend.
Both downloads are the free edition. The .bobo file opens in BoboCreate Desktop.
The editable file imports in BoboCreate Free 0.3.19 or later. It uses one of Free's three design places, and its own artwork does not count toward your three uploaded images. Older versions of the app need BoboCreate activated to import it, so update BoboCreate first.

Box the silent-e chunk
Find the e at the end of a chunk, box vowel-consonant-e, and its vowel usually says its name: in|vite, ex|plode.

Lesson 2 finds the pattern in the first chunk (safe|ty); Lesson 3 covers endings like office and village, where the e does not make the vowel long.
Open the editable template in BoboCreate
- Download and install BoboCreate Desktop for Mac or Windows.
- Download the free `free-silent-e-in-long-words-sample.bobo` file.
- In BoboCreate, choose Open or Import and select the file.
- Export a PDF.
- Print at 100% on US Letter.
