Printable Piano Recital Program: a 4-Page Booklet

A recital program lists every piece the way it is printed in the music. This free 4-page program opens in BoboCreate, so you can type your students’ pieces and print a folded booklet.

Both downloads are the free edition. The .bobo file opens in BoboCreate Desktop.

The editable file imports in BoboCreate Free 0.3.19 or later. It uses one of Free's three design places, and its own artwork does not count toward your three uploaded images. Older versions of the app need BoboCreate activated to import it, so update BoboCreate first.

The program has a painted cover, two program pages for twelve pieces and a back page for performers and coming events.

Each work, composer, movement and performer is its own text box.

What the free template includes

A painted cover with date, time and venue
Two program pages, six entries each
A back page for performers, coming events and the studio

Write each piece the way the music does

Use the title with its key and opus or catalog number: Sonatina in C Major, op. 36, no. 1. Put the movement on its own line in italics, and the composer at the right.

Check the composer

Some favorites are often credited wrongly. The Minuet in G Major, BWV Anh. 114, is by Christian Petzold, not Bach. The Trumpet Voluntary is by Jeremiah Clarke.

Print it as a booklet

Export the PDF. At home, print with Acrobat Reader’s Booklet setting on both sides, flipping on the short edge, then fold. At a print shop, ask for saddle-stitched 5.5 × 8.5 in booklets.
