Free PDF + editable BoboCreate template
Free Pattern Case: Repeats
Read groups of notes, not just single notes: spot the repeats, compare two patterns and find the note that comes next.
Both downloads are the free edition. The .bobo file opens in BoboCreate Desktop.
The editable file imports in BoboCreate Free 0.3.19 or later. It uses one of Free's three design places, and its own artwork does not count toward your three uploaded images. Older versions of the app need BoboCreate activated to import it, so update BoboCreate first.
The first case of Musical Pattern Spotter, complete and free.
Every pattern stays on the treble staff, from Middle C to G at the top.
What the free template includes
- A story and a Learn box about repeats
- Compare and what-comes-next tasks
- A paper keyboard to cut out
- Answers with a reason for each
Groups, not single notes
Say the moves aloud: step up, skip down, repeat. A pattern is a set of moves that comes back.
The full case file
Three more cases: step patterns, skip patterns, and sequences that start on a new note.
