How to Make Editable Plant Sale Price Labels and Inventory Sheets
A plant sale moves fast when every plant carries one colored dot and one clear label. This free five-page starter opens in BoboCreate, so you can set your own tiers, prices and club name before you print.
Both downloads are the free edition. The editable file opens in BoboCreate Desktop.
The editable file imports in BoboCreate Free 0.3.19 or later. It uses one of Free's three design places, and its own artwork does not count toward your three uploaded images. Older versions of the app need BoboCreate activated to import it, so update BoboCreate first.
Print the PDF and use it as it is, or open the `.bobo` file to change the four tiers, their dot colors, prices and the "3 for $8" deal so labels, slips and the summary all match.
The starter covers running the sale. It gives no plant-care, legal, tax or permit advice: check your state and county rules and your treasurer.

Set your tiers first
Group plants by pot size into three or four tiers and give each a dot color and a price. Type them once in the tier key; the labels and tally slips show the same dots, so tally writers only count colors.
Print labels on card stock
Print the label page at 100% on card stock and cut on the dashed lines: twelve labels per page, three of each tier. Write the plant name and variety on each, or type them in BoboCreate before printing.
Count before and after
Count every tier before the doors open and again at close. Opening plus added, minus sold and pulled, should equal what is left; the closing summary has a line for any difference and the reason.
What the full kit adds
The 17-page kit adds a goal planner, volunteer shifts, a donated-plant intake log, a tier sign, table signs, two-part hold tags, a cash count for every cash box and shift, a plants-and-money reconciliation, an unsold-plant record, thank-you cards and a results page. Open the editable template in BoboCreate
- Download and install BoboCreate Desktop for Mac or Windows.
- Download the free `free-plant-sale-starter.bobo` file.
- In BoboCreate, choose Open or Import and select the file.
- Edit the tiers, prices and club name; preview all five pages.
- Export a PDF and print at 100% or Actual Size.
