Free Reverse Detective Case: Keys to the Treble Staff

Start from a key and draw its note on the treble staff, then go back from the staff to the key: reading in both directions.

Both downloads are the free edition. The .bobo file opens in BoboCreate Desktop.

The editable file imports in BoboCreate Free 0.3.19 or later. It uses one of Free's three design places, and its own artwork does not count toward your three uploaded images. Older versions of the app need BoboCreate activated to import it, so update BoboCreate first.

The cover: piano keys, a toolbox and a magnifying glass, with the title Piano Note Detective, Keyboard-to-Staff Reverse Detective

Case 1: the story and a Learn box with a labeled keyboard from Middle C up

Tasks: draw the note for each marked key on a treble staff

The first case of Keyboard-to-Staff Reverse Detective, complete and free.

Reading both ways catches mix-ups that one-way flashcards miss.

What the free template includes

A story and a Learn box: keys to the treble staff
Draw, choose and match tasks
A paper keyboard to cut out
Answers with a reason for each

Both directions

Naming a note on the staff is half the skill. Finding where a key lives on the staff is the other half.

Three more cases: the bass staff, octaves of one letter, and wrong labels.
