Dance Recital Checklist for Families
Recital week goes smoothly when the costumes are labeled, the bun is practiced and everyone knows the call time. This free two-page checklist opens in BoboCreate, so a studio can adapt it before sharing.
Both downloads are the free edition. The .bobo file opens in BoboCreate Desktop.
The editable file imports in BoboCreate Free 0.3.19 or later. It uses one of Free's three design places, and its own artwork does not count toward your three uploaded images. Older versions of the app need BoboCreate activated to import it, so update BoboCreate first.
Page one counts down from four weeks before to show day. Page two is the show-bag list, with a space for your dancer’s class and call times.
A call time is when a dancer must arrive backstage — always earlier than the show time.

Call time is not show time
Dancers arrive at their call time, dressed and ready, well before the curtain. Write both on the checklist so nobody mixes them up.
Label everything
Costumes, shoes and bags look alike backstage. A name inside each piece saves a lot of searching.
Keep private details private
Checklists and packets for families should not list children’s names, medical notes or pick-up lists. Studios keep those in a staff-only file.

- Download and install BoboCreate Desktop for Mac or Windows.
- Download the free `free-recital-family-checklist.bobo` file.
- In BoboCreate, choose Open or Import and select the file.
- Edit the stages and items for your studio.
- Export a PDF and print it or email it to families.
