How to Customize a Trivia Night Score Sheet
A trivia night raises money when it runs smoothly. This free five-page starter opens in BoboCreate, so you can put your school or club name, your mulligan rules and your cap on every page before you print.
Both downloads are the free edition. The editable file opens in BoboCreate Desktop.
The editable file imports in BoboCreate Free 0.3.19 or later. It uses one of Free's three design places, and its own artwork does not count toward your three uploaded images. Older versions of the app need BoboCreate activated to import it, so update BoboCreate first.
Print the PDF and use it as it is, or open the `.bobo` file to change the event name, the number of rounds you play and the mulligan wording to match your house rules.
The starter covers running the night. It includes one 10-question sample round and three tie-breakers to try the format; a full night of 8 rounds needs about 80 questions, so bring your own or use a question pack.

Set your mulligan rules first
Decide what a mulligan does, how many each team may use and where it is not allowed. A common rule: a sticker on one answer line counts that answer correct, up to five per team, never in the final round or on the tie-breaker. Edit the rule box and the tickets so they match.
Use the scoreboard as the backup
Even if a laptop keeps the scores, fill in the paper scoreboard after every round. If the laptop fails, nothing is lost, and posting it at the break keeps every table interested.
Break ties the same way every time
Ask a number question, such as how many keys are on a standard piano (88). The team whose guess is closest, over or under, places higher; if two guesses are equally close, ask the next tie-breaker. Announce the rule before the first round.

- Download and install BoboCreate Desktop for Mac or Windows.
- Download the free `free-trivia-night-starter.bobo` file.
- In BoboCreate, choose Open or Import and select the file.
- Edit the event name, rounds and mulligan rules; preview all five pages.
- Export a PDF and print at 100% or Actual Size.
