Start with the recipe card

Each case begins with a recipe card that lists its yields and amounts. Students read the card, then scale, measure or convert on the activity pages that follow. The cards show no answers, so students can look back at them while they work.

The recipes are invented for math practice, and nothing on them is meant to be cooked.

Edit, then print at Actual Size

In BoboCreate you can edit the text and layout, such as names or wording, before you export a PDF. If you change an amount, change the matching answer page too.

Print on US Letter paper at Actual Size (100%) so the measuring-cup scales and fraction bars keep their proportions. Keep the answer pages for the adult.
